Hamilton Helmer is the founder of Deep Strategy, which develops novel strategy constructs, used for business and investment decisions. On its business advisory side, Deep Strategy's past clients have included Adobe, Agilent, John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Hewlett-Packard, Mentor Graphics, Pinkerton and Raychem. On the investment side, Deep Strategy concepts have resulted in high alpha strategies. Mr. Helmer is currently a Director of American Science & Engineering (NASDAQ:ASEI) and Chairman of its Audit Committee. Before starting Deep Strategy, Mr. Helmer worked for Bain & Company. Mr. Helmer holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Williams College. Mr. Helmer currently is writing a book on the development of new businesses by established corporations.
