Bio: Robert Skidelsky is emeritus professor of political economy at Warwick University. He was made a member of the House of Lords in 1991 and elected a fellow of the British Academy in 1994. Between 1983 and 2000 he published a three-volume biography of John Maynard Keynes, which in 2005 he condensed to John Maynard Keynes 1883-1946: Economist, Philosopher, Statesman. His book on the financial crisis Keynes: The Return of the Master was published in 2009. Recently he published Money and Government: A Challenge to Mainstream Economics.
