Bio: Harald Hagemann is professor emeritus of economics at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany and a Life Member of Clare Hall, University of Cambridge. From 2013 to 2019 he served as the chairman of German Keynes Society and is also honorary past president of the European Society for the History of Economic Thought. His main research covers the history of modern macroeconomics and the emigration of German-speaking economists during the Nazi period. Recently he co-edited, jointly with Robert W. Dimand, The Elgar Companion to John Maynard Keynes.
