Bio: Heinz D. Kurz is professor emeritus of economics at the University of Graz, Austria, Fellow of the Graz Schumpeter Centre and Honorary Professor of Nanjing University. He is the author of Economic Thought: A Brief History and, together with Gilbert Faccarello, the editor of the three volumes of the Handbook on the History of Economic Analysis. Together with Neri Salvadori he published Theory of Production: A Long-Period Analysis. He is one of the founders of The European Journal of the History of Economic Thought and of The European Society for the History of Economic Thought.
