Doug Bernheim wins 2022 Exeter Prize

Douglas Bernheim, with co-authors Sandro Ambuehl and Axel Ockenfels, wins the 2022 Exeter Prize for the best paper in experimental economics, behavioral economics, and decision theory published in 2021. Their paper, “What motivates paternalism? An experimental study” published in The American Economic Review, provides new insights about how and why people in the role of a choice architect limit the decisions of others.
