My research focuses on developing methods for drawing causal inferences in observational studies, using matching, instrumental variables, and regression discontinuity designs.
Guido Imbens and Matthew Gentzkow, both Professors of Economics are new members of the National Academy of Sciences – one of the highest honors that a scientist can receive in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.
Guido Imbens was awarded the Nobel Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences for his work in econometrics and statistics. Read more about his accomplishments here.
