Fed Challenge
The Stanford Fed Challenge team competes annually in the College Fed Challenge, where teams present a monetary policy recommendation and participate in a Q&A by Federal Reserve economists. Team members are recruited by application, typically during Spring quarter.

Rohan Karunaratne
Rohan is a junior studying Electrical Engineering. He enjoys learning about the Fed's role in debt markets and the housing market. Rohan is excited to be a part of this year's Fed Challenge team to collaborate with other students on addressing monetary policy in a changing wold. In his free time, he likes to try new food, work on hardware projects, and DJ.
Araha Uday
Araha is a junior studying economics and math. On campus, she is involved in the Stanford Economic Review, Club Golf, and she volunteers with a domestic violence shelter. She enjoys films and coffee! Araha loves that Fed Challenge puts you in the shoes of a policymaker, researcher, and competitor all at the same time.
Victoria Yan
Victoria is a senior studying economics, law, and statistics. She co-founded Stanford Fed Challenge with Peter Mugemancuro to inspire students to learn about monetary policy. Victoria loves that Fed Challenge teaches students to analyze data on inflation, employment, and consumption to inform monetary policy. Outside of Fed Challenge, Victoria is interested in homelessness policy and mental health law.
